Tonight Lauren Martin will be graduating from Walton Verona. Her plan after high school is to attend the University of Kentucky. Tomorrow her mother, Miss Hasty Martin will be traveling to Africa. As most of you know Hasty has been involved with a wonderful organization, Operation Christmas Child (OCC). This ministry gives churches opportunities to reach out to people all throughout the world. With a simple shoebox full of toys and toiletries, we are able to share Christ's love and the gospel with children that have never received a gift before.
This past year Hasty was invited to help distribute the boxes in Uganda.
Please pray for Hasty, Chad, and Lauren. Pray for Lauren as she finishes this chapter of her life and starts a new one. Pray for safety for Hasty as she travels across the seas. Pray for Chad as he supports his family. Pray a prayer of thanks that God is sovereign and in control of all of these situations.
Take a few moments everyday to lift this family up in prayer.
