Halloween Outreach

Here is some more info on the our Halloween Outreach, this Wednesday!

Trick or Treat lasts from 6-8pm.  We will be setting up at 5pm.  If you are available to come out and help, we could use your help then!

Several hundreds of people will be in the Hartland neighborhood.  Our goal is to give hotdogs, hot chocolate and hot apple cider to anybody that is in the neighborhood. 

Some of you will be handing out the goodies to people that visit my house.  Others will travel, going house to house giving the goodies to the houses that are passing out candy.

We need some donations!

We are in needs of...

Hotdogs, buns, and condiments.
Canned Drinks
Condiments
Crockpots

We will have a party after the trick or treating.  During this time we will give prizes out for best, funniest, and creepiest costume of the night.

Please wear something that is apropriate.  We are representing our church in this event.

Fall Party - CHANGED!!!

So we've been talking about a fall party at the Lighthouse on Halloween.  We are changing our activity... just a little bit.

We are going to participate in an outreach event during the Halloween event.  The event will still last from 6-9pm

From 6-8pm we will be cooking burgers/hotdogs for the Hartland subdivision.  We'll also be passing out candy, hot apple cider, and info about our children's and youth events. 

From 8-9pm we will have an after party at my house (which is in Hartland).  We will have our costume contest with prizes for creepiest, funniest, and best costume.

Summer Mission Trip

Here is an update on the summer mission trip/camps.

High School students will have the opportunity to serve in Eastern Kentucky.  We will be working with churches in an Appalachian community.

We are working on getting some solid dates. We should have those by the end of the month.

If you aren't able to attend this trip, you can still attend Crossings at Jonathan Creek.

Camping!

Boys Fishing Retreat This Friday!

Here are some details on the event...

1.  It's going to be awesome.
2.  There is no running water, but there is electricity.
3.  You need to pack sleeping bags.
4.  Bring some fishing gear.
5.  Food is provided!
6.  It's going to be very awesome.
7.  We will be leaving Friday afternoon, and returning Sunday morning after morning service.
8.  Transportation will also be provided!
