When does it start?  7pm AT THE MAIN CHURCH BUIDLING.  You will meet your small group leader, as well as your host home.  We will have a kickoff, and then a dismissal.

Our theme this year is IMITATOR.  We'll have t-shirts this year that has the same logo.

Some of you have asked if its alright to leave in the middle of it.  The answer is YES.  Come when you can!

Please invite your friends to this.  This is equivalent to a lock-in.  They'll enjoy it, and it lasts longer!

Special Worship Service

This Wednesday, February 29th we will be having a special worship service for the youth.  The middle school and high school will be combined this night.  DirtyFridge will be leading worship for a section of our service.  We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 7pm.

Our goal for this week is to spend the evening speaking directly to God.  Way too often we attend worship services, sing songs, and pray prayers without ever having God in mind.  How can we "worship God" and never even think about Him?

This doesn't mean that we just need to sing louder or better.  You may spend the evening in silence in prayer, or writing a letter to God about the junk in your life, or praising God for all that He is.

Start the worship service today.  Right now.

Don't wait for a specific day to spend time with God.  Do it now.  God may have something He wants to tell you now.

Have you worshipped God today?

Afterschool Program!!!

Our afterschool program starts this Wednesday!  We've changed it up a little bit but here is the basic schedule...

2:00-3:00 pm - Pick up students from various schools
3:30 - Arrive at Lighthouse - Work on homework
4:30 - Challenge/Open/Service/Tech
6:00 - Youth Choir/Meal Meeting
7:00 - The Point/SHARP Groups

We will leave an hour for homework.  If a student needs more than that they can work on it during the 4:30 time slot.  If a student doesn't have homework they will help setup the fellowship hall for our meal/Church activities.

Each week we will have a different theme.  The theme of each week spells out the word C.O.S.T.  This is a reminder that the afterschool program's cost IS FREE!!!

During the 4:30 time slot students will be...
Challenge - During this time a fun challenge/activity will be presented to them.  They will try to work together as one group, or as separate teams to accomplish their goal.
Open - This week is left open.  Students will have this week free to work on homework, play games, or just hang out.
Service - Many students are in need of service hours.  This week gives student's opportunities to serve the community, the church, and eachother.
Tech - This week is dedicated to all things involving technology.  Students will get to make videos/commercials, work on our website, and learn how to work other sound and video equipment.

Here is an example of a video, that a few of the youth made on a Wednesday...
